Queen – ‘I’m In Love With My Car’ (Rock Montreal) (by queenofficial)
I’m having a bit of a Queen revival (again). I love all of Queen’s catalog but damn. I’m once again diggin’ hard on the ’70s Queen catalog. This track as the primal drums, guitar, bass, piano and vocals so integral to my existence.
FLOW, as viewed by forest creatures…
This video is my third in the Hooping.org Hooping Idol contest/challenge. As stated in the last blog post, I see this as a challenge for myself, both as a dancer & a professional performer. This week’s topic was Flow, which is a state of being usually characterized by being & feeling than thinking & doing. Or, as I say, an outward projection of an inner feeling, emotion or state of being.
Seeing as how I rarely share videos of myself, especially since I started performing, I felt I could share this one.

Katie Makkai – Pretty Katie Makkai, a veteran poetry slammer – defining the word “pretty”
AMC has done it again! As if it wasn’t enough that they’re the network responsible for genuinely excellent television such as Mad Men and Breaking Bad, prepare to get your brains (braaaaains!) shredded to pieces (in the best way) when original new series The Walking Dead premieres Halloween night. Based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, the on-screen adaptation looks extremely promising, combining equal parts of gore, black humor, and inspired performances by the entire cast, zombie extras included. Think LOST-meets-the-zombie-apocalypse. It’s going to be awesome.
Hell yes!
